This web site is intended as an information hub for lesbian and bisexual women affected by cancer, and their allies. We want to help you get connected to people and resources who can address the particular needs of lesbians and bisexual women with cancer.

This website is a collaboration of individuals, many of whom were involved in the Lesbians and Breast Cancer Research Project (2004). From that research we found out that there was very little information addressing lesbians and cancer, and that many lesbians with cancer wanted to find ways to connect, either in person or through written resources, with other lesbians who have experienced cancer.

We realize that this list is not comprehensive and that many of our resources are breast cancer focused, since that is the area most familiar to many of us. We will do our best to provide links to resources for other cancers. If you know of other resources that you think should be added to our site, please let us know. We will update our site as we learn of more information.
